New Year’s Goal
I don’t normally make resolutions, but I thought that this year it would be good for me to try to write something, however insubstantial, everyday. So, I’ve started this blog as a place to collect all of these ramblings, either as full posts here or links to my posts in other places (i.e. the f5 games blog).
This year will be full of changes. I’ve been in school for most of my life (almost 22 of my 26 years if you count preschool) but I’m planning to graduate one final time in May. I’ll be a Ph.D. in Computer Science. I’ve been trying to get the nickname “Dr. Code” to stick, but I’m not having much luck.
Even though graduation is getting closer, I still don’t know what I will be doing once May rolls around. I’ve got the ‘safe’ job offer, but in a weird twist that safe offer would take us (My wife and I) away from home and the riskier options will keep us in Tulsa. There’s a lot to consider, and I’m hoping that writing about things will help me work through them.
We’ll see.
